The book is an easy read. The main focus of the book is about the recordings and music. Very little about Stephen's personal life. There are some surprises though when it comes to relationships he has had, but they are more a fleeting moment. Kind of a matter of fact book with minimal personal information. I enjoyed the book, just wish it had had just a little bit more personal biography than music biography. The author does a good job explaining why the book is written the way it is. Get it, read it, enjoy it. I did.
